This high-density, mixed-use development is carefully slipped into a sensitive site in the historic Inman Park neighborhood. A result of extensive neighborhood and AUDC interface, the plan responds to the district’s present scale, architectural vocabulary and vision. A balance of mixed uses and green space activates and complements this already vibrant area, including top-tier restaurant and commercial offerings, apartments, significant open space and a hidden parking structure. Rather than a gated complex, Inman Quarter invites the public into the interior to share greenspace, sit and reflect at the meditative water wall, or enjoy a moment’s respite from the bustling street beyond. This venue has become immensely popular with the public and has created a lively street scene. An aesthetic urban environment where people can live, work and play, IQ’s customized approach substantially enhances this valued urban node.
As Project Manager & Project Architect for Inman Quarter, Anne Michael led the design team through initial design to construction of the project and was the main client contact from concept through completion.
