Located between Historic Fourth Ward Park and the Atlanta BeltLine, North & Line is wrapped in greenspace and provides stunning views. With three direct connections to the BeltLine, its offers residents easy access to one of Atlanta’s main attractions. The clean lines of the upper levels blend a modern vocabulary with the stone base that nods to Atlanta’s industrial history. Concealing 469 parking spaces up against the Beltline and beneath the apartments on a 3.3-acre site, these midrise apartments also offer 4,500 s.f. of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, clad in true granite as an homage to the adjacent 19th-c. Dupree Excelsior Mill. Amenities include a pool deck overlooking the park and a 5,000 s.f. community space & fitness center.
Adding another layer of placemaking & reflecting the history of the project, SDA engaged art photographer Gabriel Benzur to photograph the old machinery that dotted the site of the old Masquerade building. This photography was turned into original artworks, in varying media, that are seen installed throughout the building's corridors, amenity spaces and leasing office.
As Project Manager, Anne Michael led the project team through design documentation to construction and was the main client and contractor contact.
